The delivery package
Every asset your film needs for professional delivery.
Six deliverable families, available together or on their own. Requirements vary by distributor, aggregator, platform, territory and release format — we prepare a high-quality core package, then identify and create any destination-specific variants your intended submission path requires.
01Picture master
- What you send
- Your highest-quality locked master, plus notes on source resolution, frame rate, aspect ratio, colour space and any intentional exceptions.
- What we do
- We inspect codec, container, resolution, frame rate, scan type, aspect ratio, colour handling, timecode tracks, black frames, padding, burned-in elements and structural errors, then create destination-specific exports where they are required.
- What you receive
- A corrected or newly exported mezzanine master — a high-quality intermediate file distributors transcode from — named to a consistent convention, with the picture section of the QC report.
- What we verify
- Playback integrity, spec conformance and the absence of slates, watermarks, laurels or burned-in timecode.
02Audio package
- What you send
- Final stereo mix, 5.1 mix and stems where they exist, plus any M&E (music and effects) materials.
- What we do
- We verify sample rate, bit depth, loudness, peaks, channel mapping, phase, sync, dialogue balance, dropouts, distortion and destination-specific channel layouts, then correct what falls outside the selected destination profile.
- What you receive
- Verified or corrected audio assets, mapped and labelled for delivery, with every measurement recorded in the QC report.
- What we verify
- Loudness and peak measurement against the destination profile, channel order, sync to picture and audible defects.
03Captions and language assets
- What you send
- Scripts, dialogue lists, existing captions or subtitles, spelling references and the exact master the captions must match.
- What we do
- We create or correct English SDH captions — subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, which include speaker IDs and non-speech cues — checking wording, timing, reading speed, line length, encoding and sync. Separate subtitle or forced-narrative files are prepared when they are in scope.
- What you receive
- Validated caption and subtitle files named to match the master, plus a caption QC summary.
- What we verify
- Frame-accurate sync, reading speed and line length against the destination's current caption rules.
04Artwork and trailer assets
- What you send
- Layered art or the highest-resolution artwork available, approved photography, title treatment, credit block and the trailer master.
- What we do
- We adapt artwork across the required aspect-ratio families, check pixel dimensions, colour mode, safe areas, title legibility, prohibited promotional text and laurels, produce textless variants, and verify the trailer's picture, audio, subtitles, runtime and promotional restrictions.
- What you receive
- A labelled artwork set by aspect ratio, textless variants where required, and a verified trailer file.
- What we verify
- Every ratio produced from native pixel data without upscaling, and trailer compliance against the destination profile.
05Metadata and supporting documents
- What you send
- Credits, production details, synopsis drafts, genre information, release history, cue sheet, a rights-document inventory and any availability information you hold.
- What we do
- We normalise names and roles, prepare logline, synopsis, sales description, genre and keyword fields, organise a document-readiness checklist, and identify missing information for you or your legal adviser to resolve.
- What you receive
- A structured metadata workbook and an organised supporting-document index.
- What we verify
- Internal consistency across every document, and completeness against the intake fields your destinations ask for.
The document work is a readiness checklist and inventory. It is not legal review, clearance approval or chain-of-title validation.
06Package, manifest and QC record
- What you send
- Your destination list, storage location, approved final files and any naming preferences.
- What we do
- We apply consistent names and folder structure, map variants to destinations, generate checksums — fingerprints that prove a file transferred without corruption — verify completeness and document final status.
- What you receive
- One organised delivery package, an asset manifest, checksums, and a written QC report marking every item passed, corrected, destination-specific or outstanding.
- What we verify
- That the package as assembled matches the manifest, file for file, before handoff.
How destination requirements are handled
Requirements vary. We map them before we build.
- Requirements are selected per project
- Before preparation begins we confirm the current requirement set for the destinations you name, and record which profile each asset is built to.
- One core package, plus variants
- We prepare a high-quality core package that reduces rework, then create the destination-specific variants your submission path actually requires.
- Thresholds live in a dated guide
- Exact pixel dimensions, loudness figures, caption timings and trailer runtimes change. We keep published examples in our dated delivery checklist rather than presenting them as universal rules.
- Readiness, not publication
- Our work makes a film ready for review or submission. No preparation studio can guarantee that a channel, distributor or retailer will license or accept a title.
